Checking out a low-water crossing

Many of the paved routes on the Texas Adventure Ride crossed creeks, streams and small rivers. Most of these crossings were paved with concrete and covered in very slick algae. This made it very tricky for the motorcycle riders and they quickly found out they could not just cruise through the water to the other side.
