Ardys "Queenie" Kellerman at Lone Star
Our friend Ardys Kellerman stopped by Lone Star on February 23, 2008 to
receive yet another mileage award from BMW Motorrad. This time we presented
our favorite great grandmother with a very rare 800,000 Mile Award,
recognizing another "milestone" in her remarkable motorcycle riding career.
If you're wondering, 800,000 miles is equivalent to 144 round trips between
Los Angeles and New York City. Of course we celebrated Queenie's most recent
achievement with lots of cake, the favorite food of long distance riders.
We don't know how she does it, but she has left just about everyone behind
as she just keeps on going and going and going. Ardys rides BMW motorcycles.
