Hello to all our Adventure Riding friends and clients

The 2011 riding season is kicking off and we have a heck of a year planned! The purpose of this note is to give you a quick glimpse of our activities for the year. Many of the things you'll see below are not on our website yet so let us know if you'd like more information about any of it.

First regarding our training programs...

All classes are full at our facility in California until September... So we have added classes at many of the rallies taking place this summer across the country. Many of these classes will save you money and time by not having to come to California for your training. We are offering classes in Washington, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Alaska. More info below.

May 5th to 15th - Our exciting new El Dakaro tour

An insider's view of the routes and special stages that we have seen and ridden in the last two years of the Dakar Rally. This 10 day trip gives a great glimpse into backcountry Argentina and Chile. Lots of fun, a fantastic itinerary and You'll get a chance to ride the actual "race route" which is something we never can do during the actual Dakar. We'll do this trip twice this year.

June 24th to 26th - The Pacific Northwest Adventure Rally

Join RawHyde and the guys from Touratech USA for three days of fun and riding in the mountains near Leavenworth, Washington. We hosted this rally last year and all who attended said it was a "blast". The riding is fantastic, the locale is excellent and we all had fun. Its cheap... Just $299 for three days of fun, all meals, all drinks, a souvenir shirt and more. We are also offering our "Intro to Adventure" training class at this rally. Take the training... and the rally is free of charge.

July 1st to 3rd - Intro to Adventure training at the BMW RA rally in Wisconsin

Join us for awesome regional riding in the Chippewa River Valley of Wisconsin. The quaint and spacious setting of the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds will be home for 3 nights of camping, great Wisconsin beer, seminars, vendors and music each night in the beer garden. Also something special. RawHyde will be leading a ride on the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail. AKA the T.W.A.T.

July 21st to 24th Intro to adventure training at the BMW MOA Rally in Bloomburg, Pennsylvania

Last year we had an amazing time at the Mines and Meadows rally in Pittsburg PA. We are looking forward to taking our training program east of the Mississippi again. We'll be offering training on the 22nd and 23rd at the MOA rally. Please join us at the largest BMW event in the nation.

August 12th to 20th The Continental Divide Ride - America's ultimate adventure

We have 5 spots still available on the most epic of all rides in North America. We also have a cool chance to introduce you to someone special. Mr Pieter deWaal; the boss of BMW North America will join us for a couple of days on this ride. Pieter is an avid adventure rider and is looking forward to sharing some time with fellow BMW riders.

September 2nd to 9th - Discover Alaska

We are finally going to Alaska - click below for more details. We have partnered up with our friends at Motoquest to bring you a RawHyde Exclusive training class and tour all mixed together. September 22nd to 25th - The Adventure Riders Challenge - Moab, Utah

Moab sets the stage for the incredible 5th edition of the Adventure Riders Challenge. YOU DON"T WANT TO MISS MOAB !! We'll be updating the website very soon. www.adventureriderchallenge.com

October - Date (to be determined) - The All New El Dakaro Tour

Ten days of Adventure in South America. This tour capitalizes on what we have learned during the Dakar Rally in the last two years. The Rally promoter only takes the Dakar through the most challenging and beautiful terrain in South America. We know... we've been there. This tour is a compilation of the amazing scenery and landscapes we have seen in the last two years of the Dakar. You'll be able to ride the routes and stages of the actual Dakar Race. November - The LAB2V Adventure Ride

This is the biggest "organized dual sport ride in America". Its origins are in the old "Barstow to Vegas" race in which thousands of riders lined up on a starting line a mile long... and the desert turned to mayhem. Nowadays, with the term "dual sport" this event has morphed into a really awesome two day ride organized by the AMA and local district 37. RawHyde is pre-running and laying out the "Adventure Bike Section of the ride. Join Team RawHyde for the LAB2V ride.
