Hank rolls on toward 430,000 miles
on his BMW 1995 R1100GS

Hank of Rhine West BMW Service in San Antonio rides a 1995 BMW R1100GS that just keeps on going and going. About a year ago in October 2007 he sent us a photo of his odometer when it hit 400,000 miles. The engine on Hank's R1100GS has never required any major repairs, just normal maintenance keeps it purring. Hank is getting ready for an epic ride from Texas to the southern tip of South America. He sent us a photo of his current mileage: 429,314 miles. That means he has ridden his R1100GS almost 30,000 miles in just over a year. Hank also has a new website with a blog for his upcoming ride.
