Austin Gets Whacked By Ice Storm

Lone Star BMW / Triumph didn't escape the ice storm that hit Austin on Feb. 25, 2003. About one inch of ice covered most of Central Texas. Just about everything with wheels stopped rolling and started sliding. Some brave Lone Star employees did manage to chip the ice off the doors and open up the store for a while. Most of our customers seemed to prefer to stay safe and warm at home, however. It wasn't exactly perfect motorcycle ridin' weather, anyway.
