2013 Triumph Explorer XC - Matte Khaki Green
With its blacked-out engine and frame, the Triumph Tiger Explorer XC looks like a new bad boy in the dual sport
motorcycling world. And it is. The XC model is new for 2013, and is an enhanced version of the Tiger Explorer. It
is powered by the same 1215cc, three-cylinder inline engine as the original Explorer. This high-performance
engine produces a whopping 135 bhp and 89 ft-lbs of torque. A new, ride-by-wire electronic throttle system
provides precise engine control and works in conjuction with the electronic cruise control, which is standard
equipment. A six-speed gearbox is well-suited for both the highway and the backroads, and transfers engine power
through a low-maintenance shaft drive. Traction control and a switchable anti-lock braking system are also standard
equipment. The XC adds aluminum-rimmed, steel spoked wheels with tubeless tires, hand guards, engine bars, aluminum
sump guard and high-intensity foglights. Rider comfort is aided with an adjustable seat, adjustable handlebar,
and an adjustable display screen. A matte khaki green paint scheme completes the Tiger Explorer XC. The new bad boy
in town.

6546 Burnet Road Across from Farmer's Market
The Two Wheeled Texans crowd meets every Thursday at Billy's on Burnet billysonburnet.com for lunch, conversation, story telling and maybe a bit of stretching the
truth a bit. After Billy's most of us head up to Hot Rod Coffee Trailer
hotrodcoffeetrailer.com at 6546 Burnet Road for
coffee, desserts, etc. and more of the continued conversation, story telling and stretching the
truth. And some of us wait to eat until we get to Hot Rod Coffee to indulge in some of Ken's
creations. Really good Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs, assorted pastries, even more varieties of Nathan's
Famous Hot Dogs and virtually any kind of Coffee, Latte's, Mochas', etc. you could want. And it's
cheaper than that coffee place from Seattle! And better! And what would be better than to kill time
away from the office with a bunch of biker guys and gal?
So come check it out. Of course you can come any time. I usually stop by for a quick cup of Espresso
on my way to the title office but be sure and make it on Thursday with the Two Wheeled
Texans www.twtex.com. And sometimes some of the Ride Dual Sport
Guys ridedualsport.com join us when they aren't out
playing in the dirt. - Robert K.

Champion motorcycle stunt rider Chris "Teach" McNeil visited Lone Star on Saturday, November 17. He amazed a
large crowd in the Lone Star parking lot by doing things that just cannot be done on a motorcycle. No one in
the crowd could believe their eyes as Teach popped ridiculous wheelies, rode around on the front wheel only,
rode with no hands, rode with no feet, and then spun, hopped, slid, and bounced as if the law of gravity did
not apply to him. CLICK for lots more photos!.
