2007 Hill Country RAT RAID

If you didn't make it, you missed a great one.
RAID veterans attending agreed the Texas RAID was an excellent event.
In keeping with Triumph's moto of "Go your own way.", the weekend was
laid back affording riders flexibility in where and how to ride.
Triumph selects the date and location, the rest is up to the RATs. No
sales pitch or hype, just a word to be safe, and be back in time for
dinner.
It sounds low key, but it was a great weekend for meeting other Triumph
enthusiasts, checking out other bikes in action, and riding those
amazing twisted sisters. Triumph handed out a packet with suggested
routes, while others brought their own routes. Riders had the option of
riding with an established group, create their own group, or take off
for a solo ride. People ended up choosing different variations of these
choices.
If you've not had the opportunity to ride the sisters yet, it is a
beautiful area of Texas to ride a motorcycle. The roads are narrow,
twisty, with good elevation changes and fantastic vistas.
