The Triumph Truck will be stopping at Lone Star overnight soon, the date is stil being determined. Keep watching for the date and when it arrives, come out and see this new massive twin up close.
We've just received word from the Hinckley Factory that North American dealers will receive the very first bikes off the production line, and they are coming EARLY! The first shipment of Thunderbirds will be arriving in dealerships at the end of THIS June! That’s June 2009! As in just a few months away! As in you’ll be riding your new Thunderbird this summer! As in your riding buddies will be green with envy in only a few weeks! Mark your calendars, plan your rides, buy your new gear, call all of your friends!

There are still 2008 Austin RAT T-Shirts available at Lone Star. We will decide at our next meeting if we should reorder or create new shirts for 2009.

Monthly Bike Night
Austin RATs meet the first Monday of the month at 6:30PM.

Our bike nights give us a chance to discuss upcoming rides and events, share off topic observations and become better acquainted. We might invite a speaker, but normally we spend time visiting, scheming up rides, and head for home around 8:00pm. If you are interested in Triumph motorcycles, you are invited to ride with us or attend a bike night. We don't collect dues or elect officers, but we are interested in hosting rides and participating in local events. Come share your passion for motorcycles.

March - Three Sisters and Lone Star Museum

With DST, getting in a day ride is pushing it. We will plan on arriving Friday afternoon for a day of riding Saturday. Leave Sunday morning for a scenic route and breakfast back to Austin. If weather or scheduling causes problems, we can bump this into April.
April 12th - TWS Sprint Races

An 8:30am meetup for breakfast followed by an interesting route to Bryan College Station. Many are ready to leave by 2:00pm.
May 16 - New Ulm Rallye

You may want to camp on Friday, but those only doing a day pass ($20), the day to be there is Saturday the 16th.
June ? - Austin Roadrunners Rally at Ski Shores

The date is still not set but is expected to be June 7th. We will do a short ride out for breakfast returning to Ski Shores around 11am.
October 23-25 - Harvest Classic Rally

Some will camp on Friday, others will ride out Saturday the 24th. We volunteered for the 2008 Harvest Classic, and will be back in some capacity this year. This event is best viewed from the ground up, so plan on camping if you can.
