That's Christopher on his BMW F650GS Dakar, Jim on his red Honda, and Robert
Stallones in the background. It looked at first like there was some big heavy
duty conference going on, but when we got closer we found out they were
complaining about the stock market, whining that there was not a Starbucks
nearby and bemoaning the fact that none of them remembered to pack a hair
dryer in their saddlebags.
Time for another pit stop already?
Break time somewhere southwest of Junction on the Old Junction Road. April
is a great time to be in the Texas Hill Country. There is lots of room to
roam, a discouraging word is seldom heard, and the skies are not cloudy all
day.
"Do we have time for a little snooze?"
Robert's group couldn't pass up this shade tree. The temperature reached the
mid-80's on Saturday afternoon so a stop for some shade and some cold water
seemed like a good idea.
Robert Stallones (BMW G650 XChallenge rider)
Here is Robert Stallones of Houston. It looks like he is doing his Sylvester
Stallone impersonation, AGAIN. (No relation. Whatsoever. None at all.)
